Energy Hounds are canine Rahi.

History

The Energy Hounds were created by the Hand of Artakha to assist them, and were some of the first Rahi in existence.

After the construction of the Pit, Energy Hounds were used by the Order of Mata Nui to help the Maxilos robots in tracking down escaped prisoners.

After the Mata Nui Robot was critically damaged in the Battle of Bara Magna, many Energy Hounds emigrated from the Matoran Universe to Spherus Magna.

Abilities and Traits

Energy Hounds make good guard dogs and are noted for their ability to track anything, even a mote of dust, anywhere in the universe by sensing its unique energy signature. They have sharp teeth and claws as hard as steel for offense.
