"This tiny bird makes its home among the molten lava near Ta-Koro. Living in the midst of lava helps the infernavika survive, as there are few predators that will venture too near an active volcano."

Infernavika are small bird-like Rahi.

History

The Infernavika species was created by the Makuta using Viruses and Liquid Protodermis to be one of the Rahi to inhabit the Matoran Universe.[3]

On Metru Nui, Infernavika lived beside molten Protodermis waste pipes in Ta-Metru. Following the Great Cataclysm, this population migrated to the newly-formed island of Mata Nui where they established themselves near the Ta-Wahi lava flows and the active Mangai Volcano.[2]

1,000 years later, these Infernavika moved back to Metru Nui with the Matoran.[4]

After the Great Spirit Robot was critically damaged in the Battle of Bara Magna, many Infernavika emigrated from the Matoran Universe to Spherus Magna.[1]

Abilities and Traits

Infernavika are attracted to heat and live near sources of molten Protodermis. This trait serves as a defense against predators, as most are disinclined to approach the dangerously hot substance.[2]

Set Information

The set Infernavika can be built out of the Bohrok Va sets 8553 Pahrak Va and 8554 Tahnok Va, though it requires extra pieces included with the two sets. Instructions were at one time available in the Buildits section of the LEGO Club website.
