The Parakrekks are vicious amphibian Rahi.

History

The Parakrekks species was created by the Makuta using Viruses and Liquid Protodermis to be one of the Rahi to inhabit the Matoran Universe.[4]

The Parakrekks follow in the wake of the Protocairns. Long after the larger creatures die, the Parakrekks linger, tearing down structures with their claws and devouring the fragments.[2][3]

A Parakrekks swarm followed a group of Protocairns that had been defeated by the Toa teams of Norik and Varian. The two teams also successfully defeated the Parakrekks.[5]

After the Mata Nui Robot was critically damaged in the Battle of Bara Magna, the surviving Parakrekks left the Matoran Universe and immigrated to Spherus Magna.[1]

Abilities and Traits

Left unchecked, Parakrekks have been known to eventually destroy entire cities due to their ravenous appetite. The Parakrekks are very good at finding concealment, making it difficult to root out once they have gotten a foothold in a place.[2][3]

Parakrekks possess Rhotuka launchers, but their Rhotuka power is unknown.[6]

Set Information

The Parakrekks can be built out of parts from the 2005 Visorak canister sets 8742 Visorak Vohtorak, 8744 Visorak Oohnorak, and 8746 Visorak Keelerak. Its claws are jointed so one can close or open them. The model's head features a Rhotuka Launcher and a silver Rhotuka spinner.
