"Lilah, please. They chose me. I'm clearly the guy! You coulda had it, but you didn't have what it takes... An evil hand! I mean, c'mon, who here does? Leon doesn't! Charlie doesn't! ...You do know you gave me an evil hand, right?"

The Real Me
I'm Back!
- After months bogged down in exams and revision, I'm finally back! Heck, BS01 has changed. Hey, there's a HF01 wiki? Cool.
- I'm probably not going to be able to be on as much as I'd like to, or even as much as I used to. I'm afraid there's nothing I can do about that.
- I'd like to apologise to Bionicleman -- back when he was in charge of stuff like specials, I signed up for "This Week In History", did a couple of weeks, then the exams started and I never turned up to work. I'm glad to see you managed to keep TWIH up despite this.
- I'd also like to apologise to TN05 for abruptly dumping my workload on you. It looks like you handled things well, and that Bionicleman now has a handle on TWIH as a whole. Congratulations to both of you for doing a good job despite my failures.
- And to repeat myself... I'm back! You can leave me messages and I'll actually reply to them! (I know, this is pretty intense.)
Rants
Set Design
Why is everyone so hung up over proportions? I thought Kiina was the best canister set all year, and she had lousy proportions. And why does everyone like Mata Nui so much? He has a conflicting colour scheme and in terms of proportions he's as bad as Kiina. Zesk's ears people! They're not human. I find the more "accurate" figures worse in terms of posability. If you're gonna complain, complain about the fact that their knees and elbows can bend the wrong way. Thank you.
BIONICLE Anime
I don't get why everyone shows such aversion to a BIONICLE anime. Their main arguments are:
- It would anime-ize the storyline: Not true. The art style has no effect on the storyline.
- It would chibi-ize the characters: Again, not true. Many adult anime, like Death Note, almost never use chibis.
- Conversation would boil down to "look, Tahu-kun" etc: Not true. The only time you find conditional endings in anime in the west is in fan-subbed work, and western "fake" anime like Avatar don't use them at all.
- The characters, chibis aside would have ridiculous, anime proportions: Not true. Look at most adult anime - perfectly accurate. In many ways, anime proportions are more accurate than those in western animation.
I rest my case.

"The Stars and the end of BIONICLE was a failure"
I know we didn't get a very satisfactory ending, but I think the guys handling it really pushed as hard as they could to give BIONICLE a proper ending, unlike Knights' Kingdom or Exo-Force. And they did it for our sake. Not because it would make the last line sell any better, or convince people to buy Hero Factory. They did because we, the fans, loved BIONICLE and wanted it seen off in the best way possible. And given what they had, they did an incredible job. The best they could do. In the words of Binkmeister:
"Rushed: Yes, of course. But I think we did the best we could under the circumstances, and I'm actually quite happy with the way the overall Mata Nui story is getting wrapped up in various media (comics, Journey's End, Mata Nui Saga, online serials). Sure, it would've been nice to follow an earlier timeline and do a movie trilogy and wrap up the story in an epic fashion... but we didn't have that opportunity. And all the other alternatives we had available weren't as good as what we managed to release to you. Looking back on it five years from now, I think the overall story and sets will stand the test of time, and I'm proud to have been a part of it. Even if some diehard fans are disappointed in the sets or story for 2010, I feel they both fulfill their goals."
