Several box comics were also released online on BIONICLE.com, accompanying the Toa's online bios.

Trivia

  • Each box comic was released in multiple forms. Condensed and rearranged versions of the comics were featured on the physical set boxes, while the full forms were located within instruction manuals and on the BIONICLE website. Additionally, each Toa set's box comic was rearranged into a portrait orientation to properly fit the pages of their instruction manuals.
  • There are occasionally small differences between versions of the same comic, aside from panel size and arrangement. For example, the Skull Spider behind Vizuna in the first panel is green in the comic included in the instructions of 70778, but that Skull Spider is purple in the version of the comic in the instructions of 70784.
