Skull Basher was revealed at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in January 2015 and was released in August 2015 in the United States and certain European countries. The set contains 72 pieces.

By combining pieces from Skull Basher with 70791 Skull Warrior and 70792 Skull Slicer, one can build the Powered-Up Skull Warrior.
