The Toa Nuva Promo Comic is a promotional comic that briefly summarized what happened to the Toa Mata after they sealed the Bahrag into their Protodermis prison to defeat the Bohrok Swarms. It was included in the 2002 Toa Nuva canister sets, and shows the six Toa being transformed by Energized Protodermis into their new Nuva forms and featured pictures of all of the new sets in the back.

Plot Summary

The Toa Mata are sealing the Bahrag by combining their Elemental Powers when the chamber begins to rumble and shake. The Toa plunge down on platforms into a pool of Energized Protodermis, and lightning and smoke envelope them as the silhouette of Tahu's Hau changes shape, transforming into his Hau Nuva. The comic ends with the fog rolling back to reveal the newly transformed Toa Nuva standing there, with the caption "Toa Nuva".
