The Mask of Creation is one of the legendary Masks of Power, worn by Ekimu.
History
The Mask of Creation was created long ago, and is said to be made of magic and gold. The mask was worn by Ekimu, one of the Mask Makers, who forged the highest quality masks for the denizens of Okoto.
Jealous of Ekimu's popularity, Makuta donned his forbidden creation, the Mask of Ultimate Power, and the island began to crumble. Ekimu realized what Makuta had done, and knocked the mask away from his face. This caused a shockwave that sent both of them into a deep sleep, and the Mask of Creation was lost. It eventually came to rest on a pedestal located at the bridge entrance to the City of the Mask Makers.
When the Toa arrived on the island, they made it their mission to find the Mask of Creation before the Skull Army could. However, shortly before the Toa united at the City of the Mask Makers, Kulta, the Skull Grinder, leader of the Skull Army, claimed the Mask of Creation for himself. Under the direction of Makuta, Kulta went to the Mask Maker's forge to destroy the mask. There he was met by the Toa, and donned the mask in order to fell them all in a single blow. The revived Ekimu used his Hammer of Power to knock the Mask of Creation from Kulta's face, defeating him and reclaiming the mask.
Ekimu soon put his mask's powers to work repairing the broken masks of the Toa, and revealed plans to combine the Mask of Creation's energies with those of their elemental masks to create a new bridge to replace the one shattered as a result of battles within the city. He later wore the mask as he entered a shrine within the Temple of Light, which infused him with Light and caused the mask to change in appearance. It was later returned to its previous appearance when Ekimu combined his Light power with Agil's and unleashed it all in an attack against Umarak, the Destroyer.
Powers
The Mask is adorned with ancient runes, from which it derives power.[2] It grants its primary user, Ekimu, intrinsic creative abilities, which Ekimu uses to create varied Masks of Power for the inhabitants of Okoto.
When used in concert with properly wielded Elemental Masks, the Mask of Creation can shape their energies to bring incredibly durable substances into being.[3]
When worn by Kulta, it granted him increased strength, enough to take on all six Toa at once.

Set Information
A 14 karat gold version of the Mask of Creation and a large model of the Mask of Creation, made of LEGO bricks, were displayed at New York Comic Con 2014.
The Mask of Creation was released as part of the summer wave of 2015, in 70795 Mask Maker vs. Skull Grinder. It also appeared in 2016's winter wave as part of the 5004409 Accessory Pack. A trans-light blue Mask of Creation was released in 71312 Ekimu the Mask Maker in the summer wave of 2016.
