Set Information

The Protector of Jungle was revealed at New York Comic Con 2014 during the BIONICLE panel, and officially released on the first day of 2015 in the United States and some European countries. The set consists of 70 pieces,^{[note 1]} including a Protector mask and a Skull Spider.

The weapons of the Protector can be added onto 70784 Lewa – Master of Jungle to create a "powered-up" Lewa. Both of these sets were included in collection 5004463 Protector of Jungle – Power Up, to create the aforementioned model.

Features

By turning a gear attached to the Elemental Blaster that is held in the Protector's hands, round LEGO 1x1 studs are launched. The blaster is able to hold six studs, though twelve are included in the set.

By pushing down the eyestalk on the back of the set's head, its mask will fly off.

Collectibles

A co-injected bright green and transparent bright green Protector mask and a dark blue Skull Spider mask are included in the set.
