It was one of the masks possible to be received in 8525 BIONICLE Masks, in black, red, blue, green, brown, and white. It was also possible to get the mask in the aforementioned six colors through BIONICLE: Quest for the Masks. In 2002, it was made available in silver and gold in set 8559 BIONICLE Krana, and in orange through sets 8556 Boxor and 10023 BIONICLE Master Builder Set. It was later released again in light blue as part of set 8595 Takua & Pewku in 2003, and again through BIONICLE Adventures Boxset #1-4[6] in 2004. The mask bears the code 8-MR on the inside. In its prototype stage, the code was present on its forehead instead.
