The Kanohi Faxon is the Mask of Kindred.

Powers

The Great version allows its user to mimic the powers of Rahi that share their general environment--for example, land Rahi. The Noble version would let its user only copy the powers of Rahi that share their specific environment--for example, desert Rahi. The mask does not work on Spherus Magna creatures. In order to use the Faxon, the user must have knowledge of the Rahi whose power they wish to copy. It cannot copy Rhotuka powers or bodily functions. A user of the Kanohi Faxon can rapidly switch between different powers.

Example Usage

Hahli used her Great Kanohi Faxon to replicate a sea creature's hypnotic power in order to lull a Giant Squid to sleep in Prisoners of the Pit.

Trivia

• When Lesovikk was exposed to Pit Mutagen, his mask was unaffected except for gaining a black tube serving as a gill.
• Although Toa mutated by Hordika Venom are considered to be "half-Rahi", the Kanohi Faxon cannot be used on them, as they have no powers, except for their Rhotuka, for the mask to copy.
• The face of the Toa Terrain Crawler is shaped like a Faxon.
