"His mask had changed too — instead of its old, smooth bulletlike shape, it was ridged and spiky and provided him with even stronger powers of speed."

Title Kanohi Nuva of Speed
Powers Enhanced speed
Component disks None
Bearers Toa Nuva
Pronunciation kah-KAHM-mah NOO-vah[1]

The Kakama Nuva is the Kanohi Nuva Mask of Speed, one of six masks that may only be wielded by the Toa Nuva. Kakama Nuva can be formed by dipping a destined Kanohi Kakama in Energized Protodermis.[2] Great Kakama Nuva allow their users and select others nearby to move at incredible speeds, run up walls or in the air, and pass through objects unharmed.[3][4][5] A skilled user can vibrate and turn their limbs into lethal weapons capable of cutting even Protosteel.[6] Their Noble forms possess slightly less potent abilities. Additionally, these masks enhance their users' senses and reflexes and have the potential to combine with a Miru Nuva to enable high-speed levitation.[7][note 1]

Example Usage

While on a mission from Axonn, Lewa used his Great Kakama Nuva to allow himself and the other Toa Nuva to speed into the Great Temple undetected.[10]
