Firedracax is a vengeful Dark Hunter with a hatred for Visorak.

Biography

Firedracax was once a Ta-Matoran from a landmass south of Metru Nui. When it was attacked by the Visorak horde, he and his companions fled, only to find themselves falling into a pool of Energized Protodermis. Only he survived, transformed by the Energized Protodermis. Seeking revenge on the Visorak, he joined the Dark Hunters to fight against the Brotherhood of Makuta.

Around the time of the events on Voya Nui, Firedracax was assigned to hunt Visorak on an island where they were believed to be staying, possibly accompanied by some Brotherhood agents.

Firedracax left the island and returned to Odina, before occupying Xia with the other Dark Hunters as part of the Order of Mata Nui's war with the Brotherhood. All the remaining Visorak were later drawn to Artidax by the Toa Mahri through the use of the Heart of the Visorak, and were all killed in the eruption of the island's volcano. However, after Makuta Teridax took over the Matoran Universe, he recreated the Visorak.

After the Mata Nui Robot was critically damaged in the Battle of Bara Magna, Firedracax emigrated from the Matoran Universe to Spherus Magna.

Abilities and Traits

Firedracax blames the Visorak for his current state, and as such, lusts for revenge against them.

He can form a Rhotuka that absorbs all thermal energy in the air and then redirects it at a foe as a devastating blast of heat and flames.

Tools

Firedracax uses a highly durable shield and a Rhotuka Launcher mounted on a staff.

• Firedracax was originally called Dragahno and was created by Michael Steiger, also known as BZPower member Toa Hagah Master, for the LEGO Magazine Dark Hunter Building Challenge, and was given a storyline role and place in the book BIONICLE: Dark Hunters, by Greg Farshtey.
• The official image of Firedracax differs from Steiger's winning model in multiple ways.
  • The LEGO Group assembled Firedracax with his head and torso misaligned, causing the book photo to look different from the actual entry.
  • Like many other images in BIONICLE: Dark Hunters, Firedracax's image is mirrored, as evidenced by both the creator's original photographs and the Rhotuka Launcher. Many of these images were corrected in BIONICLE: Encyclopedia Updated, yet Firedracax's remained mirrored. As a result, this article features the mirrored image.
• Unlike many other Dark Hunters, Firedracax does not have a codename.
