"Gladiator" is a large, hulking Dark Hunter and former slave of Stelt.
Biography
Gladiator was an entertainment fighter living on the island of Stelt. However, during a fierce battle, he lost control and went on a rampage. Around six Steltian bruisers were sent to bring him down, but he demolished them all. It took half of the guards to finally incapacitate him. Dark Hunters who had observed the rampage freed him from imprisonment, and he was recruited into the Dark Hunters for his power and brutality.[1]
7,000 years ago, when Sidorak tried to join the Dark Hunters, he was made to fight Gladiator as a test. Gladiator revealed that despite his great size, he also possessed incredible speed and agility, and easily dispatched Sidorak, disqualifying him from joining the Dark Hunters.[2]
3,500 years ago, Gladiator traveled with fellow Dark Hunters Triglax and Devastator to Metru Nui, having been assigned to steal the Nui Stone from Toa Mangai Tuyet. When they arrived, Gladiator and Triglax fought Toa Lhikan, but were defeated. At Lhikan's behest, Gladiator confirmed that there were only three Dark Hunters on this mission.[3]
Shortly before Mata Nui's Reawakening, Gladiator returned to Stelt to investigate rumors that Sidorak's species were trying to recruit an army of Visorak.[1]
After the Matoran Universe was critically damaged in the Battle of Bara Magna, Gladiator immigrated to Spherus Magna.[4][5]
Abilities and Traits
Gladiator is brutally strong and has a passion for war. Though his primary weapon is his strength, he also possesses incredible speed and maneuverability.[2]
He is armed with a number of razor sharp claws, which he uses to fight his enemies.[1]
