List of tie-in media released by conglomerate companies

This includes a list of content distributed or published by major conglomerate companies who had received a license from The LEGO Group to adapt the BIONICLE storyline or other concepts through any of its’ then-subsidiaries or divisions at original time of release.

Universal

The Walt Disney Company (Disney)

Movies

Miramax Films/Buena Vista Home Entertainment

From 2003 to 2005, Disney released three films through then-subsidiary Miramax Films. These direct-to-video movies were released through the studios’ home video distribution branch, Buena Vista Home Entertainment, a secondary division and legal entity of Walt Disney Home Entertainment.

The Walt Disney Company owned the rights to the films from their original date of release until 2010, when Disney sold Miramax Films and its’ entire film library to Filmyard Holdings. The rights to these movies have been most recently acquired by beIN Media Group and Paramount Pictures, who acquired the studio in 2016 and 2020 respectively.

Online games

Disney Online/TokenZone
  • Walt Disney Pictures TokenZone (Disney TokenZone): Bionicle: Mask of Light

Mobile games

Living Mobile

From 2006 to 2007, Disney released two mobile games through Living Mobile. Living Mobile was a division of Disney Mobile. After the release of BIONICLE Challenge but shortly before the release of BIONICLE Defenders, Living Mobile was rebranded as Disney Mobile G.M.H.B. Despite this, BIONICLE Defenders was released under the Living Mobile label rather than Disney Mobile, although the latter still published the game, albeit under the aforementioned Living Mobile label.
