Items in the Quest for the Toa

Takua's item inventory

In the Quest for the Toa, Takua the Av-Matoran collected and used several items during his travels around the island of Mata Nui. Some of these were returned to their villages or owners while others were kept until the conclusion of his adventure.

Tools

Firestaff

Turaga Vakama's Badge of Office. Can illuminate passage ways and stun opponents in Onu-Wahi.

Ice Pick

Turaga Nuju's Badge of Office. Cools lava and creates icicles which can be used in conjunction with the Volo Lutu Launcher. Can defeat the snow birds of Ko-Wahi if one lands on an icicle.

Stone Hammer

Turaga Onewa's Badge of Office. Cracks apart large boulders into smaller rocks that can be collected and thrown. Also used to smash snow piles in Ko-Wahi.

Kau Kau Staff

Turaga Matau's Badge of Office. Cuts down Madu trees.

Drill of Whenua

Turaga Whenua's Badge of Office. Can dig a tunnel and allows movement underground.

Trident

Turaga Nokama's Badge of Office. Launches balls of water that can knock back very small enemies.

Throwing Disc

Can be used for combat; will return to the thrower after striking the target. A total of three are obtainable; one each in Po-Wahi, Le-Wahi, and Ko-Wahi.

Volo Lutu Launcher

Launcher that can be used to carry oneself across cliffs, rivers, and other obstacles. May also be attached to some Rahi.

Lavaboard

A surfboard that can be used to traverse lava.

Madu Fruit

Throwing objects used with the flinger. Madu Fruit can be obtained by shaking Madu trees.

Madu Cabolo

Explosive throwing objects used with the flinger.

Rocks

Throwing objects used with the flinger. Stronger than Madu Fruit but flies slower.

Snowballs

Throwing objects used with the flinger. As strong as Rocks, and as fast as Madu Fruit.

Vuata Maca Tree Fruit

Large glowing pieces of energy-restoring fruit from the Vuata Maca Tree.

Bula Berry

Small and tasty, these berries dropped from infected Rahi can increase health.

Element of Melting

A blue crystal that quickly turns ice to clear water.

Antidote

An object used to purify the water source in Ta-Koro.

First Half of a Vuata Maca Crystal

Half of a crystal needed to restore the poisoned Vuata Maca trees back to health.

Second Half of a Vuata Maca Crystal

The other half of a crystal needed to restore the poisoned Vuata Maca trees back to health.

Amana Volo Sphere

Powerful object which permanently increases maximum health and energy.

The Toa Stone of Onua, used to tell The Legend of Mata Nui.

Toa Gali Stone

The Toa Stone of Gali, used to tell The Legend of Mata Nui.

Toa Pohatu Stone

The Toa Stone of Pohatu, used to tell The Legend of Mata Nui.

Toa Lewa Stone

The Toa Stone of Lewa, used to tell The Legend of Mata Nui.
