Time is a Legendary Mask Power of the Matoran Universe.

Properties

Time and the inherent perception of it are vital to the stability of the Matoran Universe. While initially flowing at an uninterrupted pace, the integrity of the time stream eventually became tied to the Kanohi Vahi, the Legendary Mask of Time. The mask was temporarily cracked and began leaking Time energy, but was repaired shortly after. Destruction of the mask would result in the time stream unraveling within the Matoran Universe.

Individual beings percieve time in the same way, though Voporak has a Rhotuka ability that temporarily disrupts this, causing the target to believe they are several seconds in the past.

Users

• The Disk of Time (formerly; now forged into the Vahi)
• The Kanohi Vahi and any wearer of it
  • Toa Metru Vakama
  • Toa Nuva Tahu
• Voporak - can cause objects and beings near him to age rapidly

Neither Tahu nor Vakama could control the Kanohi Vahi for long. Although Tahu was better able to control the Mask of Time than Vakama, he had to stop using the Legendary Mask to avoid losing control of it altogether.
