The Realm of Pohatu

Pohatu, Toa of Stone, and his people live in the foothills of Mount Ihu, where the great stones are carved as symbols of the Tohunga's faith in the Toa.

The Realm of Onua

Onua, Toa of Earth, and his people dwell in caves and tunnels hollowed out from the cliffs near the Papu Niho reef. They prefer to stay underground during the light and heat of the day.

The Realm of Gali

Gali, Toa of Water, lives beside Lake Naho and the nearby islands and streams. She and her people are equally at home in the water or out of it.

The Realm of Kopaka

Kopaka, Toa of Ice, and his people inhabit the frozen wilderness of Mount Ihu. This area is dotted with ice bridges built by the Tohunga in honour of Kopaka.

The Realm of Tahu

Tahu, Toa of Fire, thrives amid the heat and flame of the Mangai volcano. Here his people practice lava farming and surfing in the lava rapids.

The Realm of Lewa

High in the trees live Lewa, Toa of Air, and his people. Lewa prefers the highest limbs, well away from the swamp waters below.
