For those of you who loved the Scholastic Dark Hunters guide, here's one more member of that powerful organization:

Vengeance

This Dark Hunter fought in the last battle of the Toa-Dark Hunter war, alone against Toa Lhikan. He was defeated and trapped, but escaped years later. He sought revenge on Lhikan, only to learn that the Toa had already been killed by Makuta. Frustrated at being cheated of his revenge, "Vengeance" transferred his rage to Makuta and swore to someday end that entity's existence.

Powers:

"Vengeance" is armed with an extremely powerful shield capable of deflecting virtually any attack, wings for flight, and twin horns that deflect mental assaults. His Rhotuka spinners are capable of taking on solid form for a split second and slicing through even the hardest metals.

Status:

Active. "Vengeance" is convinced Makuta is still alive, despite reports to the contrary. He will not rest until he has personally erased the master of shadows from the universe.

Devastator

To hear this Dark Hunter tell it, he is one of the most powerful beings in existence after Mata Nui. The strength of five Toa courses through his frame, he can breathe fire, create earthquakes, turn his body into living lava, and even summon the dead - or so he says. How much of that is true is unknown.

"Devastator" is reported to have emerged from a fiery crag in the barren wastelands of an island not too far south of Metru Nui. According to Matoran legend, it is the domain of Karzahni, a powerful being whose realm is said to be the last stop for incompetent Matoran. Being a native of that realm, "Devastator" was quick to embrace the darkness and more than willing to use his powers to crush anything that caught his attention. He has a habit of turning simple hit-and-run missions into large scale chaos.

Powers:

"Devastator" can transmute his body into sand, vanish into the ground, and then reappear and strike with rock-hard density. He apparently has strong telekinetic powers and will often rain boulders on a target with his mind before moving in to attack. The list of powers he claims to have is endless, but since there is no proof he has some of them, they are not being listed here.

Status:

Very active. The Shadowed One recently dispatched him to a nearby island to collect a payment owed the Dark Hunters by the inhabitants. With luck, there will still be an island in existence when he's done.
