Pakastaa is a Ko-Matoran native to Metru Nui.

Biography

Metru Nui

Pakastaa lived and worked in Ko-Metru. No specific details about Pakastaa's life on Metru Nui are known prior to the Great Cataclysm. He was captured by Vahki under the command of Makuta Teridax disguised as Turaga Dume. He was then placed into a Matoran Sphere in the Coliseum and went into stasis but was later spirited away from the city by the Toa Metru and transported to the island of Mata Nui.[2][3]

Mata Nui

Pakastaa was awakened by the Toa Metru on the shores of Naho Bay on Mata Nui.[3] Despite the fact that his memory had been erased and his size and power diminished by the Matoran Sphere, he assisted in the construction of Ko-Koro using parts from the Airships the Toa Metru had used to transport the Matoran.[4] Pakastaa became a member of the Sanctum Guard and could often be seen standing as a sentinel outside Ko-Koro.[5]

After the Toa Mata arrived on Mata Nui, Pakastaa continued his position as a member of the Sanctum Guard. As the confrontation between the Toa and Teridax approached, Pakastaa helped to fortify Ko-Koro against assaults by the Makuta's infected Rahi.[5]

After the Battle Against the Bohrok-Kal, Pakastaa was rebuilt into a stronger form.[6] He was evacuated from Ko-Koro with the other Ko-Matoran following the Rahkshi's attack on the village.[7][8][9][10]

Return to Metru Nui

Pakastaa later helped in the construction of Boats to return to Metru Nui.[11] There, he joined in the citywide effort at reparation, the city being in a decrepit state. He temporarily stopped his work of reconstruction on order of Jaller, to force the Turaga to reveal where the Toa Nuva had gone, but he eventually got back to work.[12]

When the Matoran Universe was left in a critical state following Teridax's takeover and subsequent death, he, with the other survivors, migrated to Spherus Magna.[13][14]
