The set was released in the 2006. Although the label on the packaging claims the set comes with 500 pieces and no instructions, the set actually comes with 509 pieces as well as the instructions for 8614 Vahki Nuurakh. Among the parts are the set contents for the standard edition of 8614 Vahki Nuurakh, including the Kanoka Club card for said set, although the canister is not included. The majority of the included pieces are from sets released in the years 2003 and 2004, and no piece is exclusive to this set.

The parts are packaged in a clear tub with a black lid.

The set is known to have been released at Toys "R" Us in the UK region.

The set includes 5 Kraata Za and 7 Shadow Kraata, both in random shapes, and 2 of Toa Hordika Vakama's dark red mutated Great Kanohi Huna, as well as a Ta-Metru Kanoka disk with code 116 as part of Vahki Nuurakh. The set also includes a total of 27 Rhotuka: 13 in silver 2 in dark red, and 1 each in light brown and white, all with engraved Kanoka Club codes, as well as 8 in silver and 1 each in dark green and marbled light brown/silver without codes.

One of the thirteen engraved silver Rhotuka uses element ID 4272617, which is otherwise only found in later releases of 4878 Rahaga Bomonga. The other twelve belong to element ID 4256099, which is used in all other sets with engraved silver Rhotuka.

Reception

6620 did not have enough reviewers to create a reflective score, possibly due to the set's limited release area. BZPower's review concluded that it was a good value for the amount of pieces and collectibles included, but that it would not satisfy those looking for a focused building experience.
