A mighty and mysterious figure, Axonn helps the Matoran in their resistance against the evil Piraka. His giant axe slices through even the hardest rock as if it were butter. Virtually invulnerable and able to make lava balls with his bare hands.

Set Information

The Axonn set contains 196 pieces, and was first released in summer 2006. Parts from Axonn can be combined with 8734 Brutaka to create Botar. The two sets can also be combined with 8764 Vezon & Fenrakk to create Vezon & Kardas.

Features

Axonn, along with the other large sets released in 2006, introduced an axle-and-cylinder assembly to add support in the set's legs. The friction between axle and cylinder allow Axonn's legs to hold more weight before the set's knees buckle.

Axonn was the first BIONICLE set to feature fully articulated fingers on both hands. However, aside from a wide range of articulation, Axonn has no other notable action features.

Collectibles

Axonn wears a silver great Kanohi Rode.
