Set 8585 Hafu was a small set released in summer 2003. It portrays the Po-Matoran Hafu after being rebuilt following the Bohrok-Kal attacks.

Master stone carver! Hafu is known throughout Po-Koro for his skill at carving stone. Even though he can sometimes get too wrapped up in his work, the other Po-Matoran all like and trust him. Set includes koli ball and koli stick.

Set Information

The Hafu set was released in summer 2003 as one of the six Matoran sets. The set consists of twenty-five pieces.

Hafu was also released by Kabaya Foods in Japan. The only difference between this release and the normal release is slightly different packaging and the inclusion of candy. Another release occurred bundled with 8586 Macku and a Kanohi Avohkii as set 65297.

By combining pieces from Hafu with 8581 Kopeke, 8582 Matoro, 8583 Hahli, 8584 Hewkii, and 8586 Macku, one can build a four-armed being and quadrupedal beast, though official instructions were never released. Additionally, the Kabaya version of the set included instructions to combine pieces from Hafu with 8584 Hewkii and 8586 Macku to build a being wielding two Kolhii Sticks.

Features

A gear in Hafu's back can be turned to make his torso spin to the left or right. This is used to swing his Kolhii Stick.
