The Umbra set contains 179 parts and was first released in summer 2006. The set was exclusive in the US to Wal*Mart retailers, and came in "Special Edition" packaging.

Features

Uniquely among bipedal Bionicle sets, Umbra has wheels on his feet.

Umbra carries a Laser Lance that contains a Rhotuka Launcher. A Rhotuka spinner can be propelled from this launcher by using a ripcord included with the set. Additionally, when a button on each end of the Laser Lance is pressed, its cores will flash with red and blue light, respectively. This feature is powered by six LR41 batteries (three per end).

Umbra's eyes will light up if a button on the back of his eyepiece is pressed. This feature is powered by a CR927 battery.

Collectibles

Umbra wears a black Great Ruru. The set also includes two blended dark green-and-silver Rhotuka spinners, which were previously available only in the Rhotuka collectible pack.
