The set packaging

The Toa Lewa set was released in early 2008 as part of the "Phantoka" line, and contains 52 pieces.[note 1]

Parts from Toa Lewa be combined with parts from 8944 Tanma, 8691 Antroz, and 8947 Radiak to create Makuta Spiriah.

The set was included in K8685 Phantoka Collection.

Features

The set includes a Midak Skyblaster and four silver Zamor Spheres to serve as ammunition.

Several of the smaller 2008 figures can be mounted on Lewa's back, though the set is advertised as combining with 8944 Tanma.

The back of the canister featured the B.I.O code wal886.

Collectibles

The set includes a lime green Adaptive Miru Nuva.

  • When originally listed on LEGO Shop in December of 2007, this set was title Lewa Nuva,[3] which is also reflected in the URL of the BIONICLE.com products page.[1] It was later changed to Toa Lewa, matching the title shown on the packaging.[8] The instructions instead label the set simply as Lewa.

  1. 1.0 1.1 The official piece count for this set is 52. However, the instructions show a total of 51 pieces. This piece count is includes the canister "bezel" (part 61782).
  2. The price was initially $9.99,[5] but was increased to $12.99 in July of 2008, coinciding with the release of the "Mistika" line.[2][6]
