The set was released in Summer 2008 as part of the "Mistika" line. The set contains 51 pieces.

Parts from Gorast can be combined with parts from 8694 Krika and 8696 Bitil to create a Swamp Stalker.

The set was included in K8688 Mistika Collection and 66273 Costco Co-Pack B. and 3 copies of the set were included in 4529068 BIONICLE Mistika White/Green Asst..

Features

The set includes a Nynrah Ghost Blaster and 2 lime green ammunition pieces.

Several of the smaller 2008 figures can be mounted on Gorast's back, though the set is advertised as combining with 8947 Radiak.
