Danger on the Wing!
With buzzing wings and a razor-sharp beak, Nui-Rama are giant insect-like creatures. When wearing infected masks, they battle the Toa - but if the Toa are victorious, they can tame the Nui-Rama. Push levers on Nui-Rama's back, and his buzzing wings flip forward to dislodge an unsuspecting foes mask. Includes two Nui-Rama. Each measures 8" long and 6" wide.

Set Information

The set packaging

The Nui-Rama set was released in 2001 as one of the five Rahi sets. The set consists of 146 pieces.[note 1]

Two Nui-Rama are built from the set. One is orange and has a hook-like nose, while the other is lime green with a tooth-filled jaw.

Using instructions included in the orange model's manual, it could be rebuilt into an alternate model, depicting a Nui-Kopen.

Features

By pressing against a lever on either of the Nui-Rama's backs, their wings will snap forward in an attack used to knock off an opponent's mask.

The set includes four unused rubber bands.

Collectibles

The Nui-Rama each wear two transparent blue Noble Ruru over their eyes, bringing the total to four.

Trivia

  • During prototype stages, the two Nui-Rama were red and yellow, rather than orange and lime green.[3]

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 The set packaging erroneously lists the set as containing 138 pieces. Likely, this count omits the rubber bands included in the set.
