Leigh Gallagher was the artist for the 2008 BIONICLE comic books, beginning with the March 2008 issue. The artist change from Stuart Sayger to Gallagher resulted in there being no January 2008 comic.
Currently living in the UK, Leigh Gallagher has been a professional freelance comic book artist for five years and has worked with DC Comics on several occasions.
In September 2008, it was announced that Leigh was departing the job, as he had too many projects otherwise. Mata Nui Rising was Leigh's final BIONICLE comic. His final work for BIONICLE was a BrickMaster-exclusive pull-out poster of Mata Nui, and he also drew an exclusive picture of Lewa for BZPower. He was replaced by Pop Mhan.
