The Feet Additions[1] were Toa Mata Pohatu's Toa Tools.

When Pohatu transformed into a Toa Nuva by Energized Protodermis, his Feet Additions became silver and gained even greater strength.

Since Pohatu obtained his Adaptive Armor, he no longer uses the Feet Additions. Both the Feet Additions and the Climbing Claws, which he obtained upon becoming a Toa Nuva, were replaced with the Twin Propellers.

Functionality

The Feet Additions were part of Pohatu's feet[2][3][4] and were incredibly durable, smashing even the most unyielding stones with a single kick. Pohatu also could channel his Stone powers through them.

Example Usage

Pohatu using his Feet Additions to deliver a powerful kick

In "Triumph of the Toa", Pohatu used his Feet Additions to kick a boulder at a Rahi.

In the Mata Nui Online Game, Pohatu used his Feet Additions to send a shockwave at Makuta Teridax.

Pohatu Nuva used the Feet Additions to kick a polished stone in front of Tahnok-Kal to reflect its electric power in "A Matter of Time...".

Set Information

Two tan Feet Additions were included with the 8531 Pohatu set in 2001. The 8568 Pohatu Nuva set of 2002 reused the pieces in silver to represent their upgrade in strength. For both sets, the Feet Additions connected to Pohatu's feet with the use of an axle.

Trivia

  • Unlike the rest of the Toa Mata's Tools, the Feet Additions were not adapted into a weapon in BIONICLE Heroes. Instead, the weapon representing Pohatu is made to resemble one of his Mata form's hands and is called "Po-Koro."
