Product Description

A menace from below!
The Nuhvok are the tunnelers of the Bohrok, using the power of their shields to blow up rock and blast passages through the earth. They even have the power to bring down a mountain! Although their reactions are slow, they are dangerously fierce when cornered. When their krana is removed, they can be put to work rebuilding what they have destroyed.

Set Information

The set packaging

The Nuhvok set was released in winter 2002 as one of the six Bohrok sets. The set consists of 40 pieces.

A promotional comic was included with at least some copies of the set.

By combining pieces from Nuhvok with 8560 Pahrak and 8563 Tahnok, one can build a Bohrok Kaita using instructions provided at the end of the manuals for the three sets. Nuhvok can also be combined with 8565 Kohrak to create a "Bohrok Fusion."

The set was included in 65109 Bohrok 3-Pack 1, 65127 Bohrok 3-Pack 3, 65186 Bohrok 3-Pack 5, K8563 Bohrok Swarm Kit, and K8564 Ultimate Bohrok Swarm Kit.

Features

By pushing a button in Nuhvok's back, its head will snap forward to attack. Doing this with the faceplate loose will also cause its krana to shoot forward. A rubber band causes its head to retract once the attack is over.

Nuhvok can also be curled up into a ball. A piece included will clip onto Nuhvok's lower back, and can be used to hang Nuhvok from the lid of its canister when it is in its ball shape. The canister itself is modeled after an individual cell of the Bohrok Nests, and the hanging Nuhvok represents the Bohrok's dormancy.

Collectibles

A lime green rubber krana, randomly chosen from one of the eight types, was included in the set.
