This is a combiner model introduced in 2001, depicting a Turaga Nui.

Set Information

The Turaga Nui can be built by combining parts from 8540 Vakama, 8541 Matau, 8542 Onewa, 8543 Nokama, 8544 Nuju, and 8545 Whenua, though official instructions were never released. A total of 107 pieces are used in the model.

Features

Two levers are present on the Turaga Nui's back. Each lever is connected to an arm, so lowering a lever raises its respective arm. Rubber bands connecting these levers to the Turaga Nui's neck causes the arms to immediately lower again.

Collectibles

The Turaga Nui wears an orange Noble Huna, a tan Noble Komau, a light gray Noble Matatu, a medium blue Noble Rau, a lime green Noble Mahiki, and a dark gray Noble Ruru.
