The Aqua Axes were Toa Nuva Gali's Toa Tools. They also included a pair of Mizuni Rotors,[1] two propellers that attached to Gali's wrists.
Toa Nuva Kaita Wairuha held the Aqua Axes in his left hand and wore the Mizuni Rotors on his back.
After acquiring Adaptive Armor, Gali discarded both her Aqua Axes and her Mizuni Rotors.
Functionality
The Aqua Axes were able to be attached to Gali's feet to serve as scuba fins, or to be used as conventional melee weapons. They were also able to connect together to form a surfboard, in a similar fashion to Tahu's Magma Swords.[2]
Example Usage
Gali used her Aqua Axes as a surfboard in "Rise of the Rahkshi!".
Gali used her Aqua Axes to shoot bursts of water at the Rahkshi in "At Last -- Takanuva!".
She used her Mizuni Rotors to outswim the flying Rahkshi and get to Ta-Koro ahead of them to issue a warning in BIONICLE: Mask of Light.
Set Information
The Aqua Axes were included in the set 8570 Gali Nuva, released in 2002. They could be attached to Gali's feet as flippers using a bushing and axle on each foot.
