The Great Beings were seeking to create intelligent organisms called krana, but found that some of the material they used turned to Zyglak instead. Shunned by their creators and hated and feared throughout the universe, the bitter, savage Zyglak retreated to the dark places. There they wait, brooding over their fate and hating the Matoran and all who honor Mata Nui. Those who encounter them rarely survive to tell the others the tale.

The Zyglak is a combiner model.

Set Information

The Zyglak uses pieces from 8916 Takadox, 8917 Kalmah, and 8921 Pridak.

The model was also released as 9600 Value Pack 3-in-1, a bundle set of the three Barraki. In addition to instructions to build the Zyglak, the collection also included instructions to build the Pit War Tortoise, though not its component sets.
