Set Information

Throwbots artwork for the set

The Energy Slizer set was released in 1999 as part of the Slizer line. The set was known as Electro in America, where it was instead part of the Throwbots line. In addition to its 35 pieces, the set comes with a purple-and-black carrying case.

The pieces of the set can be combined with three other Slizer sets - 8504 Judge Slizer, 8505 Jungle Slizer, and 8506 Rock Slizer - to make the Mega Slizer,[3] known in American markets as the Super Throwbot Ultrarex.[4] Each of the component sets provides one-fourth of the instructions for the combiner model.

Features

The Energy Slizer has a flexible arm which can launch one of the included throwing discs. Pulling on the Energy Slizer's head moves its wings back and forth and allows it to transform into "compact mode" in order to fit inside its carrying case.

In the story, the set's carrying case represents a flying transport. The carrying case also includes indentations to store extra disc, and can be attached to a belt.

Collectibles

The Energy Slizer set contains two printed discs: A level 2 disc in its primary color purple, and a level 3 disc in black themed after 8504 Judge Slizer.
