References

Hi Eddy, though I do appreciate you adding the new information to Gen 1 BIONICLE pages, I would like to remind you to please always post the reference source back to it. For example, the list of restored Red Star denizens. Though I've no doubt you are keeping to what Greg says (I saw your name on the MBs) I just want to make sure we maintain our accuracy :) --external image Owner (talk|contribs)

Hello Swert! I'm glad you appreciate my contributions. I always try to post references, but in case of the Red Star I collected all notes of revived beings through the pages and combined them in one big list. Source of my contribution is BS01 itself. You can verify their authenticity by searching, if you want. =) --external image 13:31, 8 February 2016 (CET)

Re: Prototypes

Hey, Eddy! Welcome to BS01! I have a whole bunch of prototype pics I was gonna upload, I just got busy. I'll get back to that now. And yeah, if you want to help, that'd be great. -- Great Jala Cthulhu fhtagn 01:00, 5 March 2016 (CET)

You've been doing a really good job adding images, and I appreciate the help, but I have to point out that several images you uploaded already exist here (or at least, very similar ones). For example:
((Images were here.))
Also, the term "prototype" refers to an earlier version of a product - a version that was different from what was released. In other words, in order for a model to qualify as a prototype, it has to be noticeably different from the final product. -- Great Jala Cthulhu fhtagn 15:09, 7 March 2016 (CET)
Can you verify the authenticity of these? 'Cause Dorek had a good point the other day - we don't really know where most of these came from. And even if they are real, they need to come from official LEGO sources. I hadn't thought of that when I uploaded the Inika prototypes. -- Great Jala Cthulhu fhtagn 15:24, 7 March 2016 (CET)

Re: About the leaks

Hey, I wanted to move this conversation here so Dorek wouldn't get a bunch of message notifications when it's just us talking LOL. Helping you on Brickipedia is something to think about, yeah. For now, though, I'm going to remove the prototypes from the character galleries and Gallery:Kanohi. I don't think they really belong there. They might just confuse people In the meantime, we should definitely present Gallery:Prototypes in AFC. I think the book covers should go under Gallery:Concept Art and not in the Prototypes gallery, though. -- Great Jala Cthulhu fhtagn 06:16, 8 March 2016 (CET)

You mean LEGO magazines? I'm not real familiar with them. :/ -- Great Jala Cthulhu fhtagn 16:19, 8 March 2016 (CET)
Not really. I figure as long as they're official, you can do it the same way as the other ones. Or are you asking where to find them? Because then I have no idea. -- Great Jala Cthulhu fhtagn 18:10, 8 March 2016 (CET)
I don't know. You should ask Dorek. -- Great Jala Cthulhu fhtagn 19:17, 8 March 2016 (CET)

I wouldn't. Those are individual pieces that may or may not have been made for a specific set. That has more to do with manufacturing than with BIONICLE itself. What we have now is really ideal, in my opinion. Keep the pre-2001 Kanohi pics, though. Those are good.
Also, as a general warning, we're not allowed to talk about other wikis (not sure why). However, I'll admit that the last time I read the rule book was when I joined in 2009, so it might've changed. -- Toa Jala Converse 05:01, 14 March 2016 (CET)

Sounds good. :) -- 3.14159265359 Shall I continue? 04:45, 15 March 2016 (CET)
Oh, BTW, wanna be friends? -- Toa Jala The AFC needs your help! 07:44, 16 March 2016 (CET)

I'd be honored! :3 I wouldn't expect many straight answers, though, especially regarding the Great Beings. He and the rest of LEGO have taken painstaking measures to keep them as secret as possible. But the way I see it, why try so hard to hide something unless it's in plain sight? ;) While you're at it, here's another one I forgot to write down:

  • A Toa of Light could become invisible by causing light to bend around them, or perhaps causing it to pass through them.

Holy Mata Nui Cow, man!

The Prototype Award
This award has been made for and given exclusively to Eddy Gould for his outstanding contributions to my our prototype image collection. You've really outdone yourself. And by that I mean me. You've outdone me. Darn you. XD

Chat with Greg

You asked Mr. Farshtey about some of my theories a while ago. I replied to your message on my own talk page (which I usually don't do except with staff, 'cause that's the way they do it). Anyway, this was my response, in case you didn't see it.

Dang it! Ah, well. I have to admit, I never expected these theories to go anywhere, much less to the man himself! I'd've been happy just knowing that another fan read them. Thanks for reading and thanks for asking. The answer to the one with Annona and Tren Krom seemed ambiguous, though, so I'll keep that one. :) - 05:38, 25 April 2016 (CET)

Also, I stumbled upon a few your your questions to Greg and thought I'd answer one of them for you here: The Skopio XV-1 was destroyed in Sahmad's Tale.

Competitions

Eeeeexcellent. Where'd you get the magazine images? Been searching forever for those. -- Dorek Talk external image 21:21, 8 June 2016 (CET)

One guy posted them in my thread on the TTV board. Maybe he'll post more. --external image 21:54, 8 June 2016 (CET)
