The BS01 Counter Vandalism Unit was founded by Bionus, Utopia and Bioran23.
This unit was established after a couple of users went on a vandal spree and blanked well over one hundred pages (not including userpages) because they wanted the members of the Wiki to believe that two fictional characters (using pictures of other peoples' MOCs) were in the BIONICLE canon. Afterwards, certain members took certain steps to make sure this wouldn't happen again. At that point the BS01 Wiki Counter Vandalism Unit came into existence. However, on June 25 2007, due to a decision by CVU Founder Bionus and former General Manager Darnzerf, the CVU was disbanded.
