This is a combiner model portraying Pohatu in a powered-up mode, using weapons and armor belonging to Nilkuu.

Set Information

The model is built with parts from 70779 Protector of Stone and 70785 Pohatu – Master of Stone, using 136 pieces.

In January 2015, the two sets were bundled together and sold on the LEGO Shop as 5004465 Protector of Stone-Power Up, in addition to the base models.

Features

Unlike most combiner models, this build does not require major disassembly of its component figures. The Protector build is left intact, though his weapon and armor are removed to add to Pohatu's frame.

By turning the gear on Pohatu's back, his right arm will swing back and forth.

The model allows for detaching any Mask of Power or Skull Spider from Pohatu's face by pressing down on his eyestalk.

Many of the weapons of the two base sets are reused in this model, including the Elemental Sandstone Blaster, Jetarangs, and Dagger.

Collectibles

The Mask of Stone, the Golden Mask of Stone, the dual-toned Protector Mask of Stone, and two dark blue Skull Spiders with stingers are part of this model.
