Some stuff you could add to the Greg Archives

After GregF left BZP, he would sometimes provide new canon info to one of the members, Erebus, who would post it in separate topics on the site. This went on for a while before (and a little bit after) the creation of CwGF, and it's how we learned about the identity of Velika and the secret of the Red Star, among other things, so it'd be nice if you could add them to the archives.

They are the following (although I could have missed some):

They are still up for now, but it'd be comfy to have every one of Greg's answers in one place, and you never know when BZP might crash next :P ~OnionShark 15:19, 30 June 2017 (CET)

This is a great suggestion, thanks for putting this list together! I definitely hear ya, with BZP and LMB going offline, we all have trust issues at this point. Hence my building the archive.
I will add this to my todo list. Oh, and let's not forget Greg's BZP blog while we're at it. Maybe I'll add a copy of the Farshtey Feed and my original notes from before it started too.
Something I would really like to do is to hunt down all the one-off BZP topics Greg posted over the years on web.archive.org. I know for a fact that some of those have info that was never divulged elsewhere. For example, Greg once stated the maximum number of Toa that ever existed in the MU at the same time. I think the Media page has a couple found topics listed, and I found at least one more on my own. —Planetperson 02:10, 1 July 2017 (CET)

nice finds, onion. i think the name of the toa cordak was also on the lego message boards though - should we bother double citing that? since erebus was just reporting what greg said on the LMB, i'm inclined to think that we should only "single quote" stuff. another question, how did erebus ask greg all that stuff when he wasn't on the boards or forums or anything? Intelligence4 (talk) 02:16, 1 July 2017 (CET)
I think that, in one of the topics, Erebus said he had Greg's phone number and that's how he contacted him. But actually the Cordak's name was not first revealed on the LMBs, as far as I understand it from reading the topic it was Erebus who privately suggested that to Greg.
@Planetperson Not all of them were archived though, at least not the one where he revealed the Fohrok's backstory. But I know that some BZP members adapted various topics into text files when they announced that the archives would close down, so maybe there's a little chance that some of them have them. ~OnionShark 10:43, 1 July 2017 (CET)
Yeah, that's always the problem isn't it... if someone wants to be awesome and search for old topics on web.archive.org, I already found a couple just by looking at archived versions of the S&T index page. Naturally, Greg's topics usually floated near the top. How about I add a list of found topics to this page?
So, somewhat recently TTV managed to work out something with Greg, and he's started answering questions there, now that LMB shut down. Does anyone know if there are any plans to archive what's going on there? --Volitak Boxor (talk) 03:18, 4 July 2017 (CET)
I currently don't plan to, unless there are signs that the site will be going offline soon. For now I simply mention them in the home page text. —Planetperson 11:46, 4 July 2017 (CET)

List of Found BZPower Topics

Dang, nice finds @OnionShark! —Planetperson 16:01, 1 July 2017 (CET)

Hi, I found another one of Greg's old topics and added it to the list (it's the one from Oct 29 2006). Btw just curious, are you in the process of adding these to the Great Archives or are you focusing entirely on the the Timeline and Encyclopedia? Thanks :) ~OnionShark 19:42, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
Thank you thank you! Yes, I absolutely plan on adding them at some point in the future, but I've had to prioritize IRL work commitments, so it's on the back burner for now. I have been spending more time on the Encyclopedia recently and may have an update soon. —Planetperson 06:29, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
