Metru Nui

  • Akilini - The most popular sport in Metru Nui, before being abandoned after the evacuation of the city
  • Disk Surfing - A chute race involving Kanoka
  • Kanoka Toss - Borderline illegal sport involving tossing Kanoka disks

Innovations

  • Military - Defensive groups organized to assist Matoran in protecting their homes
  • Mathematics - Various societal inventions, such as currency and measurements, require a knowledge of mathematical formulas
  • Languages - All sapient species communicate via some form of language, though many species have their own dialects

Occupations
