Talk:Golden Armor
I would suggest someone add a list of all the Kraata powers Tahu has now with the Golden Armor on and that if a piece of the armor were to fall of that he would lose the Kraata powers. I'm too busy right now. --Boidoh (talk) 03:12, 9 September 2014 (CEST)
Are The Rahkshi Powers Tied To Tahu Or The Golden Armor?
In 2010, it was said that Tahu no longer relies on the armour to access his kraata powers, and that's the statement currently on the page. However, Greg has made many statements since then either implying or outright stating that the powers are tied to the Golden Armor:

The second quote above even addresses the previous position of the powers being inside Tahu, and Greg justified why he'd rather they be in the Golden Armor. Should this be changed?

- Usually in these cases, the older quotes is more relevant.--Surel (Talk) 06:47, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
- I know older quotes typically take precedence, but I've also been told that older quotes can be overruled by answers where Greg specifically addresses the contradiction, or even just repeats his new answer a bunch of times. Here, the original source was brought up (albeit somewhat indirectly), he changed his mind, justified it, and even mentioned his newer answer when not specifically asked about it (in the first quote I linked above).

Interesting. I might want to re-read Journey's End to see if there's any sort of implication (obviously it's not clarified outright, otherwise we wouldn't be debating), but the first three quotes at least are sort of couched in this idea that if the story HAD continued, this is how he would have written it; only the last one is an explicit confirmation thereof. Given that I'd probably give preference to the initial answer, but I'm open to further arguments. -- Dorek Talk 16:43, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
