Welcome!

Hello, EdzardDwarf, and welcome to the BS01 Wiki! Thank you for your contributions. We hope you like the place and decide to stay. As you can see, the BS01 Wiki is a place where you can type out all of the things you know about BIONICLE. If you don't know how to fully use the features of this Wiki, these will be some great links to look through:

We hope you enjoy editing and contributing to the biggest BIONICLE encyclopedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Try to remember, the Wiki Staff monitor the articles, and articles are edited constantly, so if any of your edits are reverted, or another edit is placed, don't worry about it. If you need help, just ask the existing members and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Also, in order to improve this Wiki, your feedback is very much appreciated. To provide feedback, please place it on the Member Opinion Hub. If you have any questions regarding the Wiki in general, they can be placed on the Help Desk. If you have any criticisms to make regarding the BS01 Wiki staff, they can be placed onto the Complaint Center.

(After you have read and understood everything above and the notices below, feel free to remove this template.)

Hi! BS01 has a policy against uploading personal images to the site. Instead, please upload your images at an image host like Brickshelf or Imgur. Once you reupload Icon2.jpg somewhere else (or once a couple days have passed by, whichever comes first), I'll delete the file. Thanks! -- Morris the Mata Nui Cow (talk) 23:05, 10 August 2017 (CET)

Done! You can delete it. Thanks for the information. EdzardDwarf (talk) 00:35, 10 August 2017 (CET)
No problem, thanks for reuploading the image! More info for future reference:
When embedding an external image, the URL has to be a link to the image itself, rather than a page containing the image (for example the URL https://i.imgur.com/5HGYY4u doesn't work because it's a link to a gallery, not an image). You can tell if a URL is a direct link to an image because it ends with the image's file format, like .jpg.
Meanwhile, to make an external link, put the URL in brackets: . If you want the link to have custom text, put a space after the URL and type your custom text. For example, custom text makes this link: custom text

Infobox

Try this out for your infobox:

Usually images in infoboxes are no more than 250px wide. That's a convention, not a rule, but I'd recommend a 250px-wide image just because it looks good. For on-site images, you can set image width like this: . Unfortunately there isn't a way to set the width of external images though, so I'd recommend uploading a 250px-wide copy on Imgur.

Also, you can see a preview of your edits before you save by using the "show preview" button next to "save changes." That way you can preview your edits, make corrections, and save once you're satisfied. -- Morris the Mata Nui Cow (talk) 17:21, 11 August 2017 (CET)

I think you should use the fan template. like this: 04. instead of the mass edits what you've done, please ask someone :) (because of the "Edit cooldown")SurelNuva (Talk) 23:10, 11 August 2017 (CET)
Yep, generally best to embed templates rather than copy/paste their entire code. (For more info you can check out mediawiki.org, or feel free to ask.) Surel's right that it's best not to make a ton of edits back-to-back (if nothing else it makes things easier for the staff), but as long as you use the show preview button to proofread your edits before saving (which it looks like you're doing, thanks!), you should be fine. And as the "edit cooldown" says, if you make 5 edits in quick succession, please wait a minute before making any more. That said you should absolutely feel free to edit your userpage. -- Morris the Mata Nui Cow (talk) 23:50, 11 August 2017 (CET)
