Gallery talk:Building Instructions

This page was created to allow users to easily sort through building instructions on this wiki in a organized way. I myself have wanted to browse through instructions on occasion for original advertisements, statistics, etc., but found it very difficult to search the lego website for the instructions I was looking for. It will eventually be expanded by both my own and other user contributions. (Harsulins Ghost)

I actually like the idea. Don't think we need an actual page (it can be linked to from Sets) but a gallery, with a bit of organization, could be really useful. -- Dorek _Talk 02:28, 12 September 2016 (CET)

And no, their did not need to be a page for the gallery, but I am very inexperienced in wiki coding and organization so I thought the page had to exist for my gallery to exist... Ha,Ha. I have the 10204 instructions in my collection of pdfs that I gathered a couple years back, but it's not just one pdf, it's two, one for Vezon, and one for Kardas. Categories

There's reason to keep the Titans label for Roodaka, Sidorak, Keetongu. Though not originally used, LEGO Shop at Home did grandfather the sets into the Titans category once it was established in 2007 (see here: [1]). Problem With the Index

Does anyone know how we might be able to add meta data or something, so that the Index at the top of the page says the sets years instead of, 1.1, 1.2, etc.--Harsulin's Ghost (talk) 22:48, 2 September 2017 (CET)

1. for 06 we should change it to a picture of the toa - the inika masks have some pretty cool looks when they're done right (see the masks page haha) 2. for 08, we could use that picture of the mistika flying to the codrex from that video that was released in bits and pieces on bionicle.com - the one with gali, onua, and tahu flying after tahu has been fighting the makuta by himself. what do you guys think? Well I would definitely be happy to put together some other image concepts if we want to change any. I'll try at that Inika masks banner, but I don't have a way to take images out of the Mistika video unless there is already some on this site.

Well, at first I thought maybe the banners were protruding more as you go farther down the list, sort of like some kind of indentation, but then when I got to the 2007 banner, it was moved back left a bit. Eventually I realized that they were changing position to keep them centered with their tables, which seems good in theory, but when I looked it over, it really just seemed to add extra confusion to the page. I'm not completely opposed to the current layout, but I would like to see what everyone else thinks.

@ Intelligence4, just curious what mask images you had in mind for the Inika banner. Were you thinking the graffiti looking pics?--Harsulin's Ghost (talk) 21:29, 1 October 2017 (CET)

Hey, here's an idea! I don't know if it's possible, but can we have the tables centered with the page. That way all the banners could be centered and the different tables would just get wider on both sides evenly, instead of this sort of weird staggered look.--Harsulin's Ghost (talk) 01:25, 6 October 2017 (UTC)
