Welcome!
Hello, MaskOfTastyDinner, and welcome to the BS01 Wiki! Thank you for your contributions. We hope you like the place and decide to stay. As you can see, the BS01 Wiki is a place where you can type out all of the things you know about BIONICLE. If you don't know how to fully use the features of this Wiki, these will be some great links to look through:
We hope you enjoy editing and contributing to the biggest BIONICLE encyclopedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Try to remember, the Wiki Staff monitor the articles, and articles are edited constantly, so if any of your edits are reverted, or another edit is placed, don't worry about it. If you need help, just ask the existing members and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Also, in order to improve this Wiki, your feedback is very much appreciated. To provide feedback, please place it on the Member Opinion Hub. If you have any questions regarding the Wiki in general, they can be placed on the Help Desk. If you have any criticisms to make regarding the BS01 Wiki staff, they can be placed onto the Complaint Center. (After you have read and understood everything above and the notices below, feel free to remove this template.) |
Looking for a project? Check out BIONICLEsector01: Maintenance. It lists many pages that need content, rewrites, etc. Check out what needs to be done and help make the BS01 Wiki perfect! Please do not upload any of your personal images to the Wiki. Instead, use an image hosting site like Flickr for all of your image hosting needs. |
Thanks for fixing all the templates! -- Morris the Mata Nui Cow (talk) 17:49, 1 August 2013 (PDT)

Hello, you don't know me, I'm an old member from the last generation of BS01.
I saw your comments on Dorek's page and wanted to comment from a non-staff viewpoint. Forgive me if this is unwanted.
First of all, please do not assume that you have no place here, just because some of your edits were reverted. BS01 is a community that has room for everyone who is interested in contributing. The only consideration in play is whether your work adheres to certain standards established for the Wiki's articles. Most of my edits were reverted in my first week on BS01 too. I'd recommend you read the policies and rules (see the welcome template) to better understand what content fits on the pages.
Secondly, please respect the staff. I can assure you that the staff may seem to act on personal opinion, but are really following rules that were set down years ago for regulating information, back when the community was thriving. They don't revert your edits because they enjoy doing so, they do it because maintaining standards is important to them. All of them are adults and concerned with events in their real lives. On most Wikis, staff monitor other users' edits rather than make their own. So arguing that the staff aren't active in editing themselves isn't really fair, because they're engaged in other responsibilities.
Thirdly, I understand that you feel that BS01 articles should be entertaining and so as much trivia as possible should be provided. The way it is, BS01 was created to act as an in-depth reference site. We the members have strived to maintain professional accuracy and encyclopedic style. The main point isn't to make reading the page fun, it's to provide relevant information. Can articles be written and formatted such that they're appealing and interesting? Certainly.
I hope you understand where I'm coming from on this and give the matter some consideration. I promise I will remember I will not forget 22:30, 4 August 2013 (PDT)
