<countdown time="3/31/2010 6:20 AM UTC-0700">

My Birthday, according to my calculations, will be in <D> days, <H> hours, <M> minutes, and seconds! Bring Presents!

I'm from Louisiana and have been an avid fan of Bionicle ever since '02. My first set was Lewa Nuva, mostly because I like the color green. I had seen Bionicle sets before, but I thought they were some short-going franchise of Lego. Silly me. If you look at my set list, you can tell I'm hooked now, like the rest of ya'll.

I'm homeschooled, and have been all my life. As in, since Kindergarten. 12 years down, 2 to go. Yippee! and then on to work and more responsibilities. (smaller yippee)

As for how I pay for Bionicle sets, I have a small yard business. About $100 a week. Not too bad.

As for sports, I am a minor fan of the New Orleans Saints, even though I call them the 'Aints, due to the fact they ain't trying very hard. Gotta give my dad credit for that one.

I don't know how to play any musical instruments, but I'm pestering my sister to show me the basics of piano. Once I can sight-read, I'll teach myself.

And I'm sure someone out there is wondering about my username. Well, my dad is an 18-wheeler owner-operator. His company name is Can-Do Trucking, based off of Philippians 4:13 for those of you who know the Bible. Dad's handle(it means nickname, much like here) is Can-Do. He actually has friends who know him personally but don't know his real name(once again, much like here.). Since I liked the name, the rest is history.

I've got 2 pet parakeets, named Lovie and Samantha(my sister named them, not me!), who are just learning to whistle. Now, if I would have had my way, they would have been Nuju and Kualus, but nooooo. It had to be those two.

Alter Ego

Unlike what seems like everyone else, I didn't make myself a toa/matoran/makuta/etc alter ego. Oops. That's why my name wouldn't make a good toa. So I'll shorten it to Candok. Please critique me here.

Candok was a quiet, shy and slightly paranoid Le-Matoran who was created by the Great Beings to help construct Mata Nui. He was later damaged by a falling girder beam in Metru Nui and sent to Karzahni to be repaired. Unsuprisingly, he was never seen again, until he was sent to Voya Nui, in his weaker form. He was a loyal follower of Turaga Jovan, and grieved deeply at his and many other's, deaths during the Great Cataclysm. When the Piraka arrived at the Lagoon Entrance, Candok saw them arguing and instantly distrusted them. He decided to begin living outside of the village, and barely escaped before the Piraka enslaved the village. He witnessed the battle between the Piraka and Toa Nuva, but from a distance. Not knowing what to do, he hid in a cave until discovered by the Voya Nui Resistance Team member Velika. Having some skill at riddles, he was able to translate enough gibberish to understand that the Piraka had fought another Toa team and now were underground looking for some powerful Kanohi. Candok returned to the Matoran village and later took shelter in the caves below the island with the other matoran, for the return to the Southern Continent and later to Metru Nui. Once there, he participated in the the celebration of Mata Nui's return until Makuta Teridax revealed himself. Like the other matoran, he ran to hide in the Archives. He came across an ancient laboratory where he found tools which he decided to use to defend himself, before moving on. After wandering for a time, he became weary, and leaned against a wall to rest. A section of the wall he touched began to move, opening a door that revealed a room with a single pedestal in the middle. In the center of the pedestal was a Toa Stone. Touching it, Candok was transformed into a toa of air, equipped with a Kanohi Kiril, the Great Mask of Regeneration, and twin Wind Sabers.

Toa Cykron

Toa Cykron was able to get this done for me in less than a week. Thanks again Cykron!

Never thought of Lewa Mata as muscular, but if the mask fits........

External ImageExternal Image These two were kindly given to me by Josheek55. Amazing little guys.

Did Anyone Else Notice.....

Did anybody else notice the body part names in Bara Magna? Elbow Peak, Knee Island, Skull Mountain? Sounds fishy to me.(not that there would be fish in a desert.) Whaddaya suppose Greg Farshtey is up to? hmm.
