Mask Powers

How come the Toa Metru weren't able to tell their mask powers based on the shapes? Master Inika (Talk) 16:16, 6 April 2012 (PDT)

I believe it was more a matter of learning the mental discipline required to actually activate their mask powers. Even if they knew what the mask powers were, it wouldn't do much good to have a mask and not be able to use them. I know that even despite this, they'd still probably at least know what the power was even if they couldn't access it, but this is the best answer I've got. Maybe they weren't well-versed in mask shapes and their associated powers (do you know every single thing there is to know about trivial facts in our word, like math)? --LavaringX (talk) 06:10, 30 March 2017 (CET)

Should we talk about the Toa Metru as Turaga?

Hi, guys. Since the Toa Metru became Turaga, they had many adventures together as such, too (you know, the 2001, 2002, and 2003 story arc. Plus, the Turaga were telling the people of the island of Mata Nui about Metru Nui after Takanuva defeat Teridax in Mangaia. The Turaga using Metru Nui as their home from the 2006 story arc to 2010 story arc). So, should we talk about the Toa Metru's lives as Turaga? They're still a group, like the Protectors from Generation 2.Lenny7092 (talk)

The Toa Metru's eye colors and armor colors

Hi, guys. The Toa's eye colors and armor colors are different from their Turaga forms. Did Greg explain the differences?Lenny7092 (talk)

Colors simply change, that's all. Kopeke, Ahkmou, and Nuhrii change color, as do the Inika/Mahri. It's pretty ordinary with form changes. ~ Wolk (talk) 22:23, 15 April 2025 (UTC)

And it was the designer's choice, in that case, the story/depiction follows the sets, not the other way around. That's why Nuparu is no longer orange and his eyes have changed from green to orange/red. Based on the Nuparu designer video, they weren't told the background of each character they were designing, only to pick a Toa out of the six color options.--SurelNuva (Talk) 05:04, 16 April 2025 (UTC)
