Talk:Toa Disk
What disks existed?
According to this page, the Matoran who knew the locations of the Great Disks had their own disks with their faces on them, plus Nuhrii(who this seems to mean already had one) also having one. However, the page says there were only 7 disks, one for each Toa Metru(with the Toa Metru's kanohi carved on them) and one made for Nurhii as a decoy. The 6 Toa disks in the Great Temple are also said here to have the actual Toa Metru's Kanohi on them as a sign of them being the true, destined Toa Metru. I don't really know what is correct. Also, they are supposedly things made generally by the Matoran to honor the Toa, but the sources only say that these disks were forged in the regular way any other disk was, says nothing about them being made 'in honor of' Toa, and it doesn't seem to have anything that says any Toa Disks beyond these 7 or 12 or 13 being made. - Weird. Will need some investigating what is presented in the story... ~ Wolk (talk) 19:14, 12 February 2024 (UTC)
- Actually wait, no. The quote at the top of the page says it all. ~ Wolk (talk) 19:14, 12 February 2024 (UTC)
Page Name ('Disk' vs 'Disks')
I also am just realizing that we have this page being singular while the page for the Great Disks is plural. I guess you could maybe argue that one is a specific set and the other isn't, but as far as we know, the Toa Disks are specifically something that come in groups and/or is specific to the Toa Metru(plus the fake one(s)). The term 'Great Disk' is used as a singular noun to refer to just one of the 6 known Level 9 Kanoka, so I don't see why this can't be made plural as well(or I guess they could both be singular, though I don't like that as much).
