Talk:Sidorak

Revival Status
So, I've got another one of those early-answer conundrums, about whether or not Sidorak was revived. In the earliest answer I can find, in 2013, Greg says he was revived (he also says "method of death doesn't really matter," and the rest of the post indicates that he hadn't yet fleshed out the mechanics of the Red Star. Later in 2014, in the post cited on our article, someone asked Greg if, because Keetongu beat Sidorak so badly, he wasn't revived on the Red Star; Greg said yes. He then held that position for most/all responses since. So, the question is, do we go with his earlier answer, or accept his change of mind later on? --Angel Bob (talk) 23:28, 2 March 2017 (CET)

- The rule of "first answer takes precedence" applies only to forgetcons. If he intentionally retcons something, the newer answer should be the one considered canon. That's what happened with the Nynrah Ghosts; originally, Greg said that they all came from different tribes, but later he said that they were all Fe-Matoran, and when he was told of the contradiction, he chose to go with the second version, which we consider canon. And, as you said, at the time Greg hadn't defined the rules of the RS, so the newer answer is more accurate. ~OnionShark 00:10, 3 March 2017 (CET)
