Talk:Bohrok-Kal

From BIONICLEsector01

Did the Bahrag ever create a new batch of Bohrok-Kal when the Toa Nuva freed them? --Herofanofall (talk) 01:40, 4 December 2014 (CET)

That sounds like something worth asking Greg. I'll put it into a new batch of questions. --Angel Bob (talk) 02:42, 4 December 2014 (CET)

Power Level

I found an answer from Greg that compares the power of the Bohrok-Kal to which Kraata stage should it be added in trivia?

I also found this link that shows the power comparison of the Bohrok-Kal and the Makuta. Should this be added somewhere?

Krana-Kal Types

Which Krana-Kal did the Bohrok-Kal have/use and are thus confirmed to exist? On the Krana-Kal page(though not present on this page), it says that each Bohrok-Kal "carried" one Krana-Kal of each type, making a total of the maximum 48 types, with at least one existing of each type. It even specifies that the Krana-Kal carried by the Bohrok-Va are not part of this count and are additional Krana-Kal which existed, so if that specification is accurate(though given a lack of source, I have no idea), the Bohrok-Kal themselves "carried" 8 each. However, it provides no source for the entire claim, and it not only doesn't make sense with what we know of what their bodies are like(basically just Bohrok bodies), and I don't know if it is seen anywhere. They all had at least one that they used, and maybe some additional ones were confirmed to exist if they were shown swapping their krana, but it seems like total speculation that all varieties existed, and that the Bohrok-Kal carried all of them. Even if someone can find a source, it should at least be on here as well. I know stating something to be canon based on how something appears in the comics is almost never allowed, but should we do it here? If they use the krana-specific powers in the story, we can definitely say they are known to exist, regardless of whether we see the Krana. If not ever type existed, we should write on this page and the individual Bohrok-Kal's pages what Krana they possessed and/or controlled them, and add it to their infoboxes. I will do what I can when I get the time, butwe should come to a decision first. Firespitter Lhii (talk) 15:55, 20 December 2023 (UTC)

I'm not sure I understand what the confusion is. All of the krana-kal varieties existed, even if they were not used in the story, they were in the Bohrok-Kal's supply. Each had 8 possible variants, just like regular Bohrok, and Bohrok Va supplied them with replacement krana-kal if they were disabled. The article is probably just formulated weirdly and needs a rewrite. Especially if you mean that each Kal carried 8 individual krana-kal on person all the time, then that is simply false and the page is misleading - they have 1 just like all Bohrok. We see they require a replacement from a Va after their single krana-kal is removed. As for which Kal carried which krana-kal, I don't think that is important information, but I did map this out a while ago: https://board.ttvchannel.com/t/which-krana-kal-do-you-think-the-bohrok-kal-possessed/62403/3?u=toakebaka--ToaKebaka (talk) 16:00, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
