Koli
"After much consultation with Pohatu Nuva, Turaga Onewa has announced that the new form of Koli, played with Ga-Koro net-staffs, is to become the official Po-Koro sport of Kolhii." (Wall of History, Naming Day) It seems the original sport was called Koli, and the new one Kolhii, rather than both being rneamed Kolhii, according to this? Is this contradicted anywhere? ~ Wolk (talk) 02:30, 10 April 2021 (UTC)
- I think it was redesigned and then renamed, but essentially the game remained the same.--Surel (Talk) 08:20, 10 April 2021 (UTC)
Kanoka Kolhii and Sources for Kolhii on Metru Nui
On the Official Greg Disccusion forums, I found talk about whether they played regular Kolhii or a new form of "Kanoka Kolhii" after they returned to Metru Nui, and while that may garner a mention of its own, but he also goes on to answer questions about specifically how the Matoran would/do play this new type of kolhii. Sorry for the lack of links, I don't have my computer on me and I am too busy(actually just too lazy and tired) to find them all now, but I think it more than is enough to warrant something about it. I will get to it myself in the next day or 2, but if anyone one has time or knows something about this, let me know. Firespitter Lhii (talk) 00:58, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
- The "Kanoka Kolhii" is akilini, it simply hadn't been given that name at that point, hence why it is referred to as kolhii in BA1.[1] TuragaHordika (talk) 03:09, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
