Matoran-Toa Fusions

Here -> https://greg.thegreatarchives.com/2003-2008/page319#post12722-line-2, it Greg says that a Matoran and a Toa would be able to join into a fusion, but not into a Kaita. What should we do with this information? It can be assumed that he means a natural fusion, but that isn't known. Furthermore, as this never appeared in story, but is said to definitely be possible, I don't know if this counts as hypothetical or not. What should we do for this? I'd assume he just means they can be fused by things like the spear of fusion. Too vague to really say anything else. ~ Wolk (talk) 17:31, 13 December 2023 (UTC)

I think it is reasonable to think that this isn't just refering to be able to be unaturally fused by means like the Spear of Fusion, as it would be almost entirely pointless to ask or verify if that was the case. The spear of fusion can fuse(or unfuse) ANY 2 beings and/or objects, with the only known exception being that 6 Toa cannot be fused together with it. Maybe if this was a specific request clearly about what would be allowed in a fan-story or headcanon, you could assume that, but this seems like it should at least be mentioned in trivia, as the possibility is very much there. It also seems unlikely that Greg would specify that they CANNOT form a Kaita with toa, as unless the great beings specially programmed that rule in for some unclear reason, it should be possible with the spear of fusion. Considering both Toa and Matoran are the same species/are morphiologically the same, it seems like pretty normal ability to exist. Firespitter Lhii (talk) 16:34, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
